Megan Garvey

Co-owner of Dwell Inspect Arizona, Director of Marketing and Public Relations

With more than fifteen years of experience in the luxury retail and real estate industries (where Megan built her business pedigree with a strong emphasis on culture and people) and after starting a family and moving to Arizona, Megan made the decision to join her husband, Sean, in launching Dwell Inspect Arizona. 

Most recently, Megan was a valued member of a top-producing real estate team, Evans & Associates (formerly with Century 21 All Islands Fine Homes & Estates), based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prior to getting her real estate license, Megan was the Senior Retail Marketing Manager for DFS, a division of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), where she managed all Hawaii division marketing collateral (both internal and external) to reinforce the brand message of DFS and specifically the T Galleria stores. 

Previously, Megan represented Nordstrom in various roles as the Nordstrom Rack Corporate Public Relations and Social Media Manager, responsible for managing all business, fashion and store opening PR needs for Nordstrom Rack nationwide and leading the brand’s social content and digital PR strategy; as the Nordstrom Rack Corporate Marketing Planner, instrumental in redeveloping the new store opening event plan for increased growth by identifying efficiencies of scale and better utilizing local event teams (with both positions based in Seattle, WA); and as the Hawaii Event Marketing & Public Relations Manager, responsible for events, promotions and public relations for Nordstrom throughout Hawaii. 

Prior to joining Nordstrom, Megan acquired valuable marketing experience with the following outstanding organizations; as Regional Marketing Manager for Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts, Hawaii District Marketing Manager for Borders Group Inc., Marketing Manager for Bishop Museum, Regional Marketing Assistant for General Growth Properties, Inc., and Marketing Assistant for Pacific Design Center. 

Originally from Mississippi, Megan received an MBA in Corporate Communications at Hawaii Pacific University and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a BBA in Marketing. While at MSU, Megan was the president of the Kappa Alpha chapter of her sorority, Phi Mu, was voted Senior Homecoming Maid and was an active  member of numerous philanthropic and academic organizations. 

In her spare time, Megan enjoys volunteering, traveling, staying active (by hiking, Orangetheory Fitness classes or training for a marathon), and spending time with her husband and two young children - preferably on a beach somewhere.
