Service Conductors & Entry Electrical

Trees touching or near the electrical line: The trees are in proximity to or are touching the electric lines. This is a safety concern. Recommend contacting the city or a qualified landscaper to repair.

Service wires are too low: The service conductors have inadequate clearance. Recommend further evaluation and repair.

Loose or damaged service conduit: The conduit connected to the main electrical panel is loose/damaged, exposing the service entrance conductors and representing a safety hazard and exposing the conductors to damage. Recommend having this repaired by a qualified professional.

Service mast damaged: The service mast is damaged or unprofessionally repaired. Recommend further evaluation and repair as needed.

No drip loop: There is no drip loop present at the weatherhead. This condition may allow moisture intrusion, resulting in damage to electrical components. Correction should be made by a qualified electrical contractor.

Masthead is loose/improperly secured: The masthead is loose or improperly secured; recommend review by a licensed electrician for repair or replacement as necessary.

Exposed wires observed at the entry: There are exposed wires observed at the electrical entry. Recommend further evaluation and repair.

Drip loop insufficient: The drip loop is insufficiently installed at the weatherhead. This condition may allow moisture intrusion, resulting in damage to electrical components. Correction should be made by a qualified electrical contractor.

Service wires too close - window: The overhead electrical service is within 3 feet of an openable window. Recommend evaluation and repair by a qualified electrical specialist.

Exposed wires: There are exposed wires observed at the service entry. Recommend repair.
